The Sugar & Ronson Campus is our new, state-of-the-art Jewish Care campus in Redbridge. It brings care, community and support services together in one place.

Through the campus, we continue the legacy of long-standing local services through a modern, accessible space. The opening will bring all the local Jewish Care services for northeast London and Essex, together under one roof. We are grateful to the community spaces for hosting our services in recent years, and we are proud to now be back, reunited, on a purpose-built campus designed for the future.

We created the campus to support people at different stages of life and need. You can use the services for community connection, specialist support, or even high-quality residential care. It is a place to come together, stay connected, and access the right support at the right time. All within a single, thoughtfully designed environment.

The campus is open to people from across the Jewish community. All Jewish affiliations are welcome. Services and activities are inclusive, accessible and relevant to a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and levels of observance.

The campus is designed to grow with people. If you are coming to use community services, or spend time with others, it is a place you can return to at different points in life, knowing support is close by if you need it.

Rooted in history, designed for the future

The campus builds on over 50 years of community presence. Located on the site that was previously Sinclair House, affectionately known as ‘Club’, it includes visual reminders honouring the community’s history and the services that came before it. At the same time, The Sugar & Ronson Campus is a brand new, first-class hub. It is a light, bright, spacious and fully accessible space. It will transform the way we support the local Jewish community, offering support for people of all ages and a place to connect and relax in one inclusive and welcoming space.

We have designed the building with Jewish life in mind.

Although the campus is new, the services are delivered by the same staff and teams people already know. This means continuity, familiarity and trusted relationships continue.

It is the only supervised kosher resource in the local community, with a café and an on-site meaty restaurant, so you have choice and confidence in how you access our services and food.

If you’re planning a birthday party, bar mitzvah, sheva brachot, wedding, anniversary, or gathering to remember a loved one at a shiva or have a meeting, from January 2027 get in touch about hiring The Ronson Community Centre, which operates under the supervision of SKA.

Have a look round

A welcoming social space and a gentle pathway to support

The Sugar & Ronson Campus is a social, welcoming place, not just a place to access care.

You can take part in community activities such as using the café, bridge, yoga, table tennis, Jewish festivals and community events. It’s a place to help to strengthen community connections and reduce isolation.

Because there are so many services on site, accessing support can feel more natural and less daunting. Being in a familiar, friendly environment makes it easier to explore options such as social work support, Meals on Wheels, specialist dementia services at The Dennis Centre or mental health support from the Jami hub, when needed.

The Ronson Community Centre

The vibrant hub at the heart of the campus where connection and community spirit come alive with an exciting and varied programme with everything from monthly social discussion groups and lively evening events, to daily activities, such as live entertainment, dancing, card games and exercise classes.

The Sugar Family Care Home

The 66-bed Sugar Family Care Home has been designed with comfort and dignity in mind. The experienced, compassionate teams create personalised care plans to reflect each individual’s needs with residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care, as well as options for respite stays for those recovering from illness or in need of temporary 24-hour support.

Designed for people living with dementia

Dementia-informed design runs throughout the campus. Furniture, flooring, lighting and colour choices support orientation, safety and independence. Many of these elements are subtle, but together they enhance daily life and wellbeing, making the campus more accessible and inclusive.

Sustainable and values-led

We built The Sugar & Ronson Campus to high environmental standards, it is expected to achieve an excellent BREEAM rating. Features such as solar panels and energy-efficient systems reflect our commitment to responsible energy use, reduced carbon emissions and sustainable development.
