The Bridge Extravaganza committee has raised £90,000 at the 27th Bridge Extravaganza Day. After a morning of Bridge with 120 guests at The Landmark London, the lunch was dedicated to the memory of the late Shirley Young z’l, a lifetime supporter of Jewish Care and a founder member of the Bridge Extravaganza committee.
Joint Chairs of the Bridge Extravaganza Committee, Patsy Bloom and Susan James, said:
“To have raised £90,000 is so important at this difficult time when Jewish Care faces the impact of a large increase in National Insurance. The funds raised will support Jewish Care’s dementia day centres that provide specialist support and dementia-friendly activities for people living with dementia and their relatives in a Jewish environment. These vital services receive no government funding and are completely reliant on the generosity of our community.”
