Gemma Lyons has joined Jewish Care as a Trustee and continues to serve as a committee member on the charity’s Fundraising Advisory Committee. She has been involved with Jewish Care and with Jami mental health service since 2023, initially through its Mental Health Committee and subsequently as a member of the Fundraising Advisory Committee. Previously, Gemma served as a Trustee of Jami, supporting strategic planning, fundraising and communications.

I look forward to supporting its important work and helping to ensure that the wide range of services continue to make a meaningful and lasting difference, not only to the people it supports, but also to their families, volunteers, staff and the wider community.”

Beginning her career at UBS Investment Bank covering media companies, Gemma later moved to the office of the Chairman and CEO to focus on strategy and financial analysis. She led strategic reviews across products and geographies, supported major cross-bank initiatives, and advised senior leadership through financial and competitor analysis, communications and strategic planning. After her corporate career, Gemma developed a strong commitment to education and the community. She was a teacher of Macroeconomics at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School and continues to be involved in its award-winning educational outreach partnership programme.
Gemma is a Trustee of the National Holocaust Museum. She is married with three children and holds a first-class BSc in Economics and Econometrics.
