Jewish Care is challenging members of the community of all ages to participate in fun, purple-themed activities for #GoPurple week for Jewish Care from 5 – 11 February. There are many ways to do something positive in purple to chase away the January blues for the day or week, whilst raising awareness and showing appreciation of Jewish Care’s vital work supporting older people in the community.
All week, Jewish Care supporters are going purple for Jewish Care. Some suggested activities include dressing head to toe in purple, icing a cake purple, painting your nails purple, sharing a purple picture, or even dying your hair for the occasion, all while donating to Jewish Care.
Over the Go Purple awareness week there will be purple-themed parties and activities for everyone from the ages of 0 to 105, across schools, nurseries and shops, care homes and community centres. Local school and nursery children, residents, volunteers, staff and community centre members are all getting involved.
