  • Previous winners of this award include a Meals on Wheels driver; a reading group facilitator.
  • Has created or implemented an innovative or creative project involving Jewish Care service users.
  • Ensures that the project meets the values of Jewish Care and enhances the experience of all.
  • Previous winners of this award include a photography volunteer for the Holocaust Survivors Centre; Coordinator of the Memory Way Cafe.
  • Has helped a resource or the organisation more generally to ensure that our services retain a Jewish element
  • Demonstrates their respect of the diverse practices and beliefs of those who use the services of Jewish Care
  • Has demonstrated their understanding of what is meaningful to those who use the services of Jewish Care
  • Previous winners of this award include kiddush and synagogue volunteers at Anita Dorfman House and a general volunteer at Vi and John Rubens House who brings Judaism into the home through music, prayer and activities.
  • Volunteer of the Year award for excellence in all round volunteering. Someone who goes above and beyond demonstrating outstanding contribution to the organisation and its values
  • Has been volunteering for at least 5 years.
  • A collaboration of teamwork supporting staff and managers of a service or resource
  • Minimum of two people. e.g. a couple, friends or family members.
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in fundraising for Jewish Care · Raising the profile of the organisation through their activity.
  • Demonstrates the values of Jewish Care
  • Adds value and strengthens community through their fundraising activities.
  • Previous winners of this award include chair of a Betty Asher Loftus Centre fundraising committee; the Friends of Stepney committee.
  • Does not actively seek recognition for their volunteering.
  • Has received no formal recognition from Jewish Care.
  • Demonstrates their commitment to promoting meaningful lives for people who use the services of the organisation.
  • Has been volunteering for at least 5 years.
  • Is involved in the management and decision making for a particular area(s) of the organisation
  • Involve actions or effort that improve efficiency, effectiveness or reliability of a service or process within Jewish Care
  • Previous winners of this award include Chair of the Michael Sobell Jewish Community Centre advisory Group; Sandringham shop coordinator and purchaser; shop remodelling by a corporate company.
  • Are between the ages of 14 and 25.
  • Has been volunteering for at least 6 months during the past year.
  • Demonstrates a special relationship with either a group of clients or Jewish Care that shows their commitment to the promotion of meaningful lives
  • Demonstrates a strengthening of community.
  • Brings creativity to their volunteering role.
  • Is between the ages of 14 and 25.
  • Has been volunteering for at least 6 months during the past year
  • Demonstrates a special relationship with either a group of clients or Jewish Care that shows their commitment to the promotion of meaningful lives.
  • Demonstrates a strengthening of community.
