Are you a carer?
If you provide unpaid support for a relative, neighbour or friend who has care and support needs, you are a carer. Jewish Care understands that it may be hard to call yourself a carer, as the help and support you give may be seen as a natural part of your relationship. Our Family Carers Team is here to support and enable you to continue this vital role. We offer emotional support, practical advice and guidance, information and access to various services and advocate on your behalf to help ensure you receive any assistance you are entitled to
We offer:
One to one support – A chance to meet to discuss issues or concerns about your caring role. This could be at a venue that suits you, at home, a local café, our offices or another Jewish Care resource. For those who prefer we also offer telephone, email and videolink support. We can assist with form filling, discuss entitlements and support you to navigate the various statutory systems and pathways to care.
