Everyone enjoyed an afternoon out when the Friends of Stella & Harry Freedman House care home hosted the annual garden fete. The afternoon which included stalls, entertainment and a delicious cream tea was enjoyed by residents, relatives, staff and volunteers.
Volunteers of all ages helped support the event. Young volunteers Alice and Annabel, hosted a stall selling handmade crafts including crochet animals and bags and donated their proceeds to the home. They said, “We wanted to help at the garden fete, to make the residents at the home happy.”

A huge thank you to Rosa Begon, Chair of the Friends of Stella & Harry Freedman House, all the committee and volunteers for helping to make the event such a success and raising vital funds for the home.
