Today, Jewish Care was honoured to welcome His Majesty The King to the Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus in Golders Green.
The visit came at a particularly sensitive time for the Jewish community, following a series of antisemitic attacks and attempted attacks in the area. His Majesty’s presence was a powerful and timely gesture of solidarity, recognising the challenges being faced and affirming the importance of safety, care and community.
During his visit, The King met Jewish Care’s Life President, Lord Levy; President, Steven Lewis MBE; Chair, Marcus Sperber; and Chief Executive, Daniel Carmel-Brown. He was also joined by Chief Rabbi Mirvis and representatives from across the Jewish community and communal organisations, including CST, UJS, the Jewish Leadership Council, the Board of Deputies, Hatzola North West and Shomrim.
His visit was a meaningful moment of support and reassurance, underlining the strength and resilience of the community Jewish Care is proud to serve.
