This Chanukah, Jewish Care Families brought warmth and joy to the Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus with its JC Tots Intergenerational celebration.

The event was filled with music, laughter, and the magic of Chanukah, bringing generations together in a vibrant celebration of tradition and togetherness.
The room was alive with warmth as Hayley from Adventures with Kids Classics brought the story of Chanukah to life to over 100 guests aged 0 to 103—from babies and tots to parents, grandparents, and residents of Jewish Care’s Otto Schiff care home.
Hallie Harrison, age 4, proudly helped draw the raffle. Her dad, Edward, summed up the spirit of the day: “It was a great party with lots of energy and the kids loved it! A really good way to celebrate Chanukah together.”
Marilyn, who is a resident at Jewish Care’s Otto Schiff care home, added:
“The children were absolutely wonderful and so was the party!”
Emma Freud, from Jewish Care’s JC Tots Committee, expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“Thank you to everyone who came and to Hayley for making our committee’s first intergenerational Chanukah event a truly memorable party. Your generosity helps Jewish Care in its vital work supporting those who need it most in our community.”
Ellisa Estrin, Jewish Care’s Director of Fundraising & Marketing, added, “I’d also like to thank our wonderful JC Tots Committee and all of our guests, including our care home residents and relatives, who made this such a special morning. This celebration was a beautiful expression of Jewish identity and a shining reminder of the light
we create in the darkness when generations come together to share our Jewish traditions and to create new memories as a community.”
