Jewish Care may modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow for the proper operation of the Website. Any changes will be notified to you via a suitable announcement on the Jewish Care Site. The changes will apply to the use of the Website after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the Website. If you continue to use the Website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.
Most elements of www.jewishcare.org may be viewed by any visitor to the Website, however access to some services may require you to register as a member. If you register, you must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct or complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.
4 PASSWORD AND SECURITY
If you register for certain services on the Website, you may be asked to create a password. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this password confidential and must not disclose or share it with anyone. You will be deemed responsible for all activities that occur under your password and if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should notify us by contacting the email@example.com immediately. If Jewish Care has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Website, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.
5 EVENTS BOOKING
5.1 If paying for the tickets via invoice, payment should be made with 30 days of the invoice date
5.2 All event tickets are non-refundable
5.3 If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, you will be offered either to retain your ticket for the new event date or to be given a full refund.
5.4 If using a family trust or foundation to buy event tickets, guests are reminded that the purchase must be permitted by the terms of that trust or foundation. The purchase price of a ticket is not a donation and ordinarily charitable funds should not be used to buy tickets on behalf of guests.
5.5 If the tickets are not used payment must still be made to cover the costs of the charity
5.6 Jewish Care has the right to refuse sale of tickets to guests who have outstanding ticket payments or charitable pledges on their account
5.7 Jewish Care has the right to refuse entry, or eject any guests from an event if they are under the influence of alcohol, and a refund will not be given in these circumstances
5.8 Guests should inform Jewish Care of any change to email, telephone or postal address details
5.9 Photography and filming is common at our events. By attending the event all guests consent to Jewish Care using these images and any video footage in our promotional material. If you have any objection to these when you attend the event please speak to a member of Jewish Care staff.
5.10 Requests for seating placement in a room will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
5.11 Guests should check that all details on admit cards, tickets or confirmation emails are correct and inform Jewish Care of any errors so that these can be rectified prior to the event. Errors notified less than 48 hours prior to an event may not be corrected.
5.12 If purchasing a table for an event, a table host must inform Jewish Care of all guest names at least 48 hours prior to the event. Names received or changed after this time may not be added to the event guest list, or receive a name card at the event.
5.13 Jewish Care cannot be liable in any way for the acts or omissions of others (including caterers and venue operators). However, Jewish Care does not seek to exclude its liability to guests for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or any other liability which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
5.14 Jewish Care may share guests’ details with other suppliers linked to the event, but only for the purpose of the event and will never share these details for any marketing purposes.
5.15 Any decision made by door staff or venue management is final.
5.16 Ice Skating Events
Jewish Care treats the Health and Safety of all participants as a priority. As with any sports/leisure activity there are hazards associated with ice skating.
We recommend that old trousers and long sleeve tops are worn.
By signing up to this event you understand that:
Ice skating is physically intense and may require extreme exertion to participate.
The possibility of injury to my child and others exists.
The skating area and surrounds will be slippery and have many trip hazards.
You confirm and agree that:
Your child is physically fit and able to take the strain and exertion involved in ice skating.
Your child has no medical condition that would prevent them from skating.
You and your child are fully aware of the risk to your child and others involved in ice skating.
Your child will comply with the rules and use all equipment as instructed.

The content of this Website is protected by copyright, trade marks, database right and other intellectual property rights. This Website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics, information, photographs, logos and names.

9 JEWISH CARE’S RIGHT TO SUSPEND OR CANCEL YOUR REGISTRATION
We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions. You can cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org If you do so, you must stop using the Website. The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Website shall not affect either party's statutory rights or liabilities.

Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

13.1 At Jewish Care we uphold the highest standards of legal and fundraising compliance.
13.2 We comply with all statutory obligations and governmental guidance in respect of refunds.
13.3 Under charity law, we are not permitted to refund donations other than in specific circumstances. In respect of refunds in other circumstances (where not otherwise referred to in these terms and conditions) we will consider each case on its own merits and entirely at our discretion.
14.1 Your use of this Website and any dispute arising out of such use of the Website is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 You may not transfer any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these Terms and Conditions to another business where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.
14.3 If you breach these Terms and Conditions and Jewish Care chooses to ignore this, Jewish Care will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions.
